Holding at least $150 million in Telegram bonds, one of the platform’s largest investors is engaged in business with Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov and the son-in-law of Sergey Lavrov. He also supports the personal projects of Vasily Brovko, Rostec’s CEO, whose work includes purging Telegram channels, with investments worth billions.

Rostec executive Vasiliy Brovko has reportedly used pressure tactics on Telegram administrators to eliminate competition facing his wife, Tina Kandelaki, and to acquire assets for his personal enrichment.
